Daydreaming Projects are pleased to present Erebus, a new exhibition by artist duo Warren du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones, which opens at The Londonewcastle Project Space this week.
Featuring two new film installations and two series of photography, the exhibition has been created in collaboration with renowned choreographer Russell Maliphant, and takes its name from Erebus, a Greek mythological figure, who was a primordial deity and the embodiment of darkness.
The central 13‐minute film in the exhibition is a response to Maliphant’s full-length contemporary dance work ‘The Rodin Project’ that was inspired by the great French sculptor’s oeuvre and performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London in 2012. Maliphant’s dancers won global plaudits for their monumental performances and can be seen in the film.
A selection of works are available to purchase exclusively via East of Mayfair.
