Tate Collectives: Oxymoron

For this project we partnered with Tate Collectives, a group of 15-25 year olds that have been brought together by Tate to curate events to engage youth audiences with the Tate exhibition programme and collection, to curate Oxymoron, a one-off event in the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall. Responding to ideas raised by the Damien Hirst exhibition taking place at Tate Modern at the time, the event, which sought to explore the idea of unified opposites, featured music by Kwesachu (a collaboration between Kwes and Micachu) alongside workshops run by artists Hattie Stewart and Lauren Baker.
